My Scraps & More
I had the pleasure of working with the My Minds Eye Winter Wonderland 6x6 Designer Paper Pad.
I combined these gorgeous papers and PageMaps card sketches to create my cards.
I am a huge fan of My Mind's Eye! I love the colors and patterns and couldn't wait to get started on my Christmas cards!
My scrappy friend, Bev, gave me a heat embossing tool and some embossing powder this summer and I finally had a chance to play with it. I used the above 6x6 paper pad along with the snowflake stamps from the My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland Acrylic Stamps and heat embossed the snowflakes on my scalloped circle. I added an inked tag from the Winter Wonderland "Tags" Paper, a snowflake button from the Winter Wonderland Button Collection and tied it all together with the Winter Wonderland twine.
Here is the sketch:

For my second card I used the same paper pad and added the "Presents Under The Tree" tag along with some red ric-rac.
Here is the sketch:
For my third card I used the same paper pad. The "May You Have Peace & Joy This Holiday Season" tag and row of houses at the bottom of my card are both included in the paper pad.
I also added a button and twine from the Winter Wonderland Collection and a piece of red ric-rac from my stash. I also used a Kreaxions 4 In 1 Punch for my borders.
Here is the sketch:
This collection was so much fun to play with and I have lots of 6x6 papers left in this pad to make more Christmas cards with!
I will be giving away these cute Winter Wonderland Buttons to one lucky person who leaves me a comment and is a follower of my blog.
Thanks so much for hopping along with us today!! I hope that we inspired you in some small way to create something special today!
Now you are off to Missy's blog to see her fabulous creations!
