It's November already! (Where did October go?) Which means, time for a new sketch or two at MSW. I chose to do both the card sketch and the layout sketch this month and had a blast with them! Lucy's sketches are really the best!

September 1st layout sketch at MSW

WOW! It's been a whole 2 months since I have been here! Where did the summer go?! I guess being gone on our family vacation to California for 3 weeks really took a chunck out of the being off work thing. Hoping to post pics from that soon!

Any way, the September 1st sketch is up at MSW and the new DT did an awesome job! There are also some new challenges to try too! Go check it out!

My brother, Jim got married last Saturday and had a beautiful wedding! A fun time was had by all!

I DID IT!

I actually completed the LOAD contest at ScrapDango! That means I did a layout or 2 cards a day for the month of June! Now I need to clean my house, I have ignored it the last few days trying to play catch up! Here are a few things I did later in the contest.

I made this wedding card for my brother, Jim, who is getting married this Saturday!



Loved the outcome and decided to make another for Greg's niece, Ruth, who gets married next month and also made Austin's birthday party invitations with it.

Summer break!

We are officially on summer break, well we have been for a week but today it feels like summer, it is warm and sunny!

Lucy posted this sketch over at MSW on the 15th. I had so much fun with it and love the look of banners! Here is what I came up with, hope to see you over there!

It's baseball/ softball season!

We have been busy here with baesball/ softball practice with both Sierra and Austin playing this year. They had their first games this week and did very well!

Austin got his first hit during his second game and was so proud! But then was disappointed when the next batter struck out and the inning was over. He wanted to score for the team, maybe next time! Awesome job, bud!

Sierra found the "right" bat at her first game and connected with the ball every time! She had an awesome game!

I have been making a few cards while playing along in the MSW Spring Fling Crop, which is still going on, and also Dango's Be Inspired Crop.

This card was created for the MSW May 1st card sketch challenge.
