White Pen?

Today on the Practical Scrappers Blog we are working with white pens. My friend, Bev, introduced me to her favorite white pen, Signo, while we were at a crop in Houston last summer and it was soon my favorite too!
Any who, I used my Signo white pen to write my sentiment on this fun guy card I made my Dad for his birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DAD!

I used the This & That Collection from Echo Park and added an old fishing vest sticker I had for awhile.

Hope you will stop on over to the Practical Scrapper Blog and see what the rest of the girls did with their white pens!

Fun With Stamps

Today up on the Practical Scrappers Blog the ten things team is showcasing stamps.
I decided to stamp some images and fussy cut them and add to my layout:

I used 5 different stamps:
1. deer (isn't he cute?)

2. the branch
3. the sun/ cloud combo
4. the leaf (used 3 times)

5. tree (also used 3 times)

I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch # 906 for my border:

Along with all the stamps, I used Little Yellow Bicycle Acorn Hollow Collection, I am a huge fan of all their fun lines!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will stop on over to the Practical Scrapper blog and see what the rest of the girls did.
Have a great day!

Cards In Envy

Hello and happy Monday!
It's the first Monday of the month, that means there is a new challenge up on the Cards In Envy Blog!
Todays challenge is: Make it manly. I always have such a hard time with guy cards, so this was a challenge for me! LOL!
I decided to use Echo Park's This & That Collection. I fussy cut the Whitlock Bay card off one of the papers, added a bobber sticker, stitching and also wrote my sentiment with a white gel pen on my black banner:

My Dad has a birthday this month, so this was a perfect challenge for me!

Remember, that for the Cards in Envy challenge, we only accept A2 cards (4.25"x5.5") that are relatively flat to fit in a first class envelope for regular postage.  That means no lumpy, bumpy cards.

If you play along with this challenge, be sure to link it up on the Cards In Envy Blog!

LGS

It's Monday! That means there is a new sketch up on the Let's Get Sketchy Blog!
I used some My Minds Eye for this fun layout of my daughter:

Here is Brenshevia's wonderful sketch:

If you play along with this sketch, be sure to link it up on the Let's Get Sketchy blog so we can see it.
Thanks for sharing your day with me! Enjoy!
