It's baseball/ softball season!

We have been busy here with baesball/ softball practice with both Sierra and Austin playing this year. They had their first games this week and did very well!

Austin got his first hit during his second game and was so proud! But then was disappointed when the next batter struck out and the inning was over. He wanted to score for the team, maybe next time! Awesome job, bud!

Sierra found the "right" bat at her first game and connected with the ball every time! She had an awesome game!

I have been making a few cards while playing along in the MSW Spring Fling Crop, which is still going on, and also Dango's Be Inspired Crop.

This card was created for the MSW May 1st card sketch challenge.

This card I did for Scarlett's Alice in Wonderland Challenge at MSW and also the Color Challenge at Dango. Love the outcome of it!

Old Photos

A while back my Mom gave me a bunch of old photos to scan into my computer. I always have such a hard time buying her gifts for those special days, so I thought this year for her birthday I would print those photos and make her an album as a gift. I am leaving the journal blocks empty so she can write in that herself. I hope she likes it!

It's Been Awhile!

Man, it's been way too long! Was hoping to update on Spring Break but, as usual it went way too fast!

We took the kids to a waterpark for the day and let them each take a friend, boy did they have fun! and Greg and I got to relax a little! This was the only photo I got with them both in it.

I have been watching a new challenge blog called Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Check it out here:

The first challenge was to make a project with a bloon and the word birthday on it. You also had to use a cutout from your Cricut.

I decided to make a card and cut 3 balloons out on one side of the card, cut half of that off, added balloons cut from patterned paper with pop dots to the inside if the card. Inked balloons cut from the cardstock and added to the front of my card.

It's been a while!

It's been a while since I have been able to blog with work and Sierra's games, but I have managed to squeeze in some scrappy time early in the morning or on the weekends to keep my sanity! LOL!
