Be Inspired

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the new challenge that is up over at Off The Rails.
I used Echo Park Creative Agenda and Everyday Eclectic for this layout of Sierra with some of her new college friends. I used a cut file (feathers) from the Silhouette store and cut the feathers out of patterned papers. I added some stitching and also added some watercolors to the background.

I fussy cut the balloons and doily, added some tangled thread and a sticker:

I added lots of layers behind the photo. I also added some more tangled thread, a wood veneer typewriter and a sticker: 

I created my title with some fussy cut alphas, Echo Park alphas and the word "you" was cut on my Cameo. I also added another wood veneer here:

I created a cluster of fussy cut doilies, a sticker and thread down here at the bottom:

Christmas Cards

Hello and hope you had a great weekend!
I had some scrappy time and decided to create a few Christmas cards.
About a year ago, I was at the LSS and saw these stickers and some sample cards and fell in love. So I bought some, made some cards last year. So when I ran across them the other day, I had to use them up. I love the non-traditional colors of these cards.
I used a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap for this card:

Lucky Using ScraPerfect

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using  ScraPerfect products.  I just love the Best Glue Ever! It really lives up to it's name. It is quick drying and only takes a little bit to hold. Combine the glue with the No Clog Writing Cap and it is perfect for all those small pieces!

Here's my layout using ScraPerfect and Amy Tan Stitched:

I used the Best Glue Ever pretty much everywhere with the exception of where I wanted some dimension, then I used foam tape. I just applied a small amount of glue and held it for a few seconds and it stayed!

I used the Embellie Gellie and the Best Glue Ever to put down my sequins. It was fast and easy to do with the Embellie Gellie. You just add a small ball to the stick and it picks up the sequin for you! So cool!

I added some stitching to my layout after the glue was dry just to prevent the needle from getting sticky. But if it does, try using the Best Cleaner Ever to remove it.

Sparkle

Hey there! Happy Saturday!
Just got home from a day of shopping and lunch with the girls, so thought I would share a layout I finished early this morning.
I used 7 Dots and a sketch from Stuck?! Sketches and a challenge at Paper Issues for this layout of Sierra's first day at college:

I used a stencil and added some various colors of ink. Then I added watercolor to my background. 

I added a Blue Fern chipboard swirl and some Fancy Pant sequins. I fussy cut the "good day" banner from a 3x4 card:

I love the saying" Don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle" and thought it was fitting for her first day. I fussy cut the feather from another 3x4 card:

I added some sticker sayings and stamped the date. I accidentally stamped it upside down first, lol!

Super Cute New Do!

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a fun page I created using a sketch over at Sketch-N-Scrap. With working 40 hours a week, I haven't been able to play over there as I would like. I am also entering this page for Joan's Saturday All Sorts 11/5 challenge over at Creative Inspiration.

I used an American Crafts paper pad for this page:

I used watercolors to create my background. I used a variety of alphas for my title- October Afternoon, Basic Grey, Bella Blvd. and I hand wrote "cute" and then cut around it and added watercolor to it. I love how it turned out and will be doing this again!

I added a few October Afternoon stickers for the location and date. I did a lot of fussy cutting- flowers and doilies:

I added a My Little Shoebox acetate word (lovely) and some American Crafts embellies:

Using Stash

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the sketch reveal yesterday at Creative Inspiration.
I have been trying to be good and using some of my stash. I probably have enough stash to scrap at least a year! LOL Any how, I used Fancy Pants Memories Captured and Collecting Moments for this graduation page of Sierra:

I added a Crate Paper frame alon with stickers and fussy cut circles and sars to this corner:

I used watercolor with the packaging technique for my background:

The "graduation: sticker is from Jolees. I added some of the Fancy Pants mini alphas to complete my title:

Here I added some more fussy cut circles and stars:

I used Photo Play's Autumn Day collection and came up with this card:

I fussy cut the leaves and pumpkins, added a few layers and some stitching. Easy peasy!

Hey there scrappy friends!
Happy Sunday!
Today I am sharing a layout I created this morning for the November Creative Embellishments challenge. I used some of their goodies along with the Give Thanks line from American Crafts.

I had a blast creating this layout! 

I started by adding some watercolors to my white cardstock background using the packaging technique. I blotted it with a paper towel and then used two Creative Embellishment stamps. I stamped the text in black and then the circles in an orange and a brown.

The "family" chipboard piece, I added a coat of Gesso and then a few colors of mists:

For the chipboard leaves, I added a layer of Liquidtex glass beads and then some mists. I love the texture the glass beads give the chipboard!

I also added some wood buttons, stickers and tangled thread throughout my layout:

I used a few wood clouds from Creative Embellishments and just added some white acrylic paint to them:

The challenge was to use this photo as inspiration along with some wood:

I used the colors, leaves and apples for my inspiration.

Paper House Fall Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Paper House Fall/ Halloween blog hop!

I used the Fright Night Collection and came up with this "spooky" Halloween layout:

I used P-2039 for my background and added 1 color and 1 black and white wallet sized photo. These photos fit perfectly in the slots of the frame on the paper:

For my title, I used Sculpted Stickers- STP-0312 and overlapped on my photo a little bit.

The "Venom" bottles and spider circle are cardstock stickers from STCX-0206 that I popped up with foam tape. I added the skull & cross bone bottle from the 3D sticker- STDM-0218: 

The globe is also a 3D sticker STDM-0218 and the candle is a cardstock sticker STCX-0206:

On the right side of my layout, I added a strip of  orange patterned paper P-2037. On top of that, I added the "Book of Spells and Incantations" sticker from the cardstock sticker sheet.

This layout was very simple to put together with only using 2 patterned papers, a sticker sheet and some 3D embellies.
