Cuteness

Hey!
It's my day to share my take of the sketch over on the Sketches In Thyme  blog.
I used Pink Paislee C'est LaVie and Heidi Swapp embellies and came up with this page:

This is Sierra and a friend at Homecoming last year.
I added lots of layers and stitching:

I created a soft background using watercolor and added bits and pieces:

This "cuteness" sticker has been in my stash and I finally used it- I admit- I was hording it because I loved it so much!

A close up of the banner and I added black Heidi Swapp mist spatters:

Just a few more of the embellies:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Road Trip

Happy hump day!
Hope you are having a fabulous week so far!
I had an appointment this morning, so I took the day off from work. With some free time, I decided to play along with Scrap Our Stash's sketch + 3 challenge. I used Pink Paislee Memorandum and came up with this page:

I used the sun cut file from Silhouette Studio  and stitched in place.

I fussy cut the clipboards and the camera. I added some of the washi tape and a journal card from Elle's Studio.

Here you can see my layers.

I finished it off with a few more embellies and some mist spatters.

Here is the sketch + 3 board:

I used:
Journal card
Kraft
and lavender

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Field of Dreams

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for Paper House using the Sports/All Star collections from Paper House Productions.
I used Austin's baseball photo from last year and these awesome sports papers and came up with this page:
Field of Dreams PH

Field of Dreams Layout Supplies:
I used my Cameo to cut the shooting stars from the All Star Paper and stitched through some of the shooting stars:

I used 2 of the tags and added one to each side of my matted photo and stitched them as well. I used some of the stars that were cut from the Cameo and scattered some around my page. That cute banner is included on the sticker sheet:

The mini alphas are from the fun sticker sheet, love them!

I added the baseball bat sticker on top of one of the stars and also added a wood veneer baseball. The "Field of Dreams' title is printed right on the paper! Love that my title was already done for me :)

As soon as I saw that "hey now, you're all star" sticker, I knew I had to use it! Also, because I know there is a song that has those words in it and I was singing it as I added it to my page. I just can't remember the title or singer of that song?!

I hope I have inspired you in some way to dig out your sports photos and try these fabulous papers and  stickers.
Enjoy your day!

Stuck?!

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
It is a rainy day here, so I am catching up on a few things around here.
Today I am sharing a layout I created using the April 15th sketch over at Stuck?! and Crate Paper's Notes & Things.

I used white cardstock for my background and added watercolors using the package technique. Then I used a few mists to add spatters. I fussy cut the butterflies from one of the papers:

I added a 3D tag and some Creative Embellisments chipboard along with a few rub-ons from my stash:

I added a few of the PL life cards for layers and added some stitching:

Here's one more close up:

Here is Laura's fabulous sketch:

Hope you have a great day!

Using Scraps

Hello again!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using scraps, with the exception of my background paper, of Robin's Nest goodies...
I used Water Glitter Swirl for the background on this beautiful page of Sierra:

I cut my title and the flowers using my Cameo.

I added some bling from my stash along with some different colors of Dew Drops. Dew Drops are the perfect way to add that special touch to your layouts, cards or any other crafty project!

Here are just a few more close ups:

I hope I have inspired you to dig out those scraps and use them on a project!

I added some distressing and of coarse some stitching.

I would love to have you play along! Please check out the rules for playing.

March Project 12

Happy Sunday scrappy friends!
Today I posted my Project 12 March sketch over at Turtle Soup.
I used an American Crafts paper pad I have had in my stash for a few years and came up with this:

Here is the right side:

Left side:

and a few close ups:
I cut my sun out using a Silhouette cut file and my Cameo and stitched. My title, "March" was also cut on my Cameo. The 2016 are chipboard numbers I believe are from Bella Blvd

I also cute these cute doilies on my Cameo:

I fussy cute the flower bunches and popped them up with foam tape:

I added some stitching to the pennants:

Here is my sketch:

Mini Crop

Are you looking for some fun stash challenges to play along with? If so, I would love for you to join in on the April Mini Crop going on at the Turtle Soup.
My challenge for this crop is to dig out your rub-ons and use at least 3 of them on your project.
I used 17 on this Christmas layout of Austin and his aunt:

I used Basic Grey Juniper Berry papers.
All of these rub-ons have been in my stash for years and it felt so good to use them!
Here are some close ups:

So dig out those rub-ons, create a project and share with us at Turtle Soup!

Paper House Productions

Hey there!
It's my day up on the Paper House Blog today!

Today I am sharing a layout I created using the Discover collection. This line is perfect for all your travel pages!
I used a photo of Sierra and Greg when they flew to Philadelphia for a family wedding in August last year. They are actually at the wedding dinner in this photo.
Travel PH WM (793x800)

Here are a few close ups: I fussy cut the "Memories of a Life Time" card and added that next to my black and white photo to make it pop a bit. I added the passport sticker and the "Pack Your Bags" sticker, I popped up with pop dots to give some dimension:

Travel PH WM close up 1 (640x439)

I fussy cut the "Our Getaway" card, wrote my journaling on it and slid it under my photo. I added the
travel and arrow sticker:

Travel PH WM close up 2 (640x427)

The airplane is also a sticker, looks like it was printed on the paper. Love it!

Travel PH WM close up 3 (640x427)

I added the branding strip (the small strip of paper that was on the bottom of the background paper) and zigzag stitched it in place. Then I popped that cute burlap sticker up with pop dots. After I finished, I realized the photo area looked like a suitcase, LOL! It was perfect for this page!

Travel PH WM close up 4 (640x427)

This layout is fairly simple, but yet the photo shines! That's what scrapping is all about to me!

I would love if you stopped over at the Paper House Blog and left me some love.

Happy Saturday!

Hello!
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend so far!
I am sharing a layout I created for Joan's Saturday All Sorts challenge over at Turtle Soup last week.
Here challenge was to use letter stickers that were mostly used up.
I added a bunch of odd letter Thickers to this layout and covered them in Gesso. My original idea was to add watercolor over it, but once I laid everything else out, I liked it as it was so I just added some paint spatters.

I added paint to a few of the numbers and then used a brown marker:

I used a few old school lines for this page. I am trying to use some of my stash.

Here's a close up of the letters:

I really enjoyed this challenge and will be doing it again soon. Lord knows I have way too many old alphas in my stash!
