Hello Adventure

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I am sharing my take on case file #366 at CSI.

I used lots of old alphabet rub-ons from TLC, Doodlebug, Pink Martini and Arctic Frog along with an old Clique kit and October & November Hipkit Club kits for this layout of Austin's first day of preschool:

I added the rub-ons and then added watercolor to my background. I added the diecut butterfly and fussy cut the words from one of the papers:

Thge title, was from the Clique kit. I added some  chipboard hearts and fussy cut some leaves:

I added a few layers of patterned papers behind my photo along with some fussy cut leaves, flowers and a flower diecut:

This was a great way to use up some of my old rub-ons!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Free Spirit

Hey there!
I am back today to share a layout I created for Off The Rails. They have a fun mood board this month to play along with!
I used an old Clique Kit for this layout of Austin:
I used white cardstock for my background and added some  mists using the packaging technique. I cut the big circle diecut in 2 pieces and added the bigger piece on top and the smaller one on the bottom, stitching it in place:

I fussy cut the feathers from one of the papers. They were all black and white, I flipped 2 of them over so that I could have a little of the green pops of color. I added some diecuts and enamel dots and hearts throughout the layout:

I added the chipboard "Live Simply" for my title and added a chipboard arrow on top:

I fussy cut the dream catcher from a card that came in the kit. Love it!

Here's the mood board:

I love how this page came out!
Hope you will play along with us!

Scraplift

Hey there!
It is my day to post the scraplift challenge today over at Creative Inspiration.

I lifted a layout by Laurie and used an older Clique kit from my stash and came up with this page:

I added some watercolor and mist spatters to my background. The heart cut file is from Paper Issues. I cut it out of white cardstock and added some watercolor. Finally stitching around it:

I added the Thickers word "ok" and then fussy cut the "smile"from one of the papers. I added a few pieces of torn washi tape to border my title and photo:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous day!

Vegas Adventure!

Hello!
I scrapped a few layouts from my Vegas trip with the girls that we took during spring break in 2016.
I wish I would have scrapped these sooner so that I would have remembered more details.
I used a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap for this layout along with an old Clique kit that contained a lot of the Simple Stories You Are Here collection:

I love this gold script "fun trip" and just had to include it on this page!
I added the flair that came with the kit, it was perfect!

I used the Thickers that came with the kit and fussy cut the word "Adventure" to finish off my title.

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Taco Tuesday

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the December 1st sketch challenge at Stuck?! and the book inspired stash challenge over at Scrap Our Stash.

I cut a star cut file from the Silhouette store and colored it green using watercolors. I added yellow watercolor to my background using the packaging technique. Finally I stitched my star on and added some black mist spatters.

I used a Clique kit for this page about Sierra's last day of working a "Taco Tuesday" before she heads off to college. I added some tangled thread and then added a flair on top.

I love that green arrow clip! I also added a few tags and a clear yellow acetate " Photograph" word.

Here I added some more tangled thread and a Pink Paislee Rubber Charm.

Here is the sketch:

and the book inspired challenge:

I was inspired by the yellow, green, white and black and also the stripes.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
