Boys

Hey there!
No work yesterday equalled a bit of scrappy time for me!
I used the blend- a-sketch challenge at Scrap Our Stash along with an old Little Yellow Bicycle line- Fern & Forest and came up with this page of Greg and Austin:

I added watercolor to my background. I tore a strip of the vellum with gold stars from Shimelle and stitched that onto my background. I fussy cut the word "Boys" from one of the papers. I added a textured diecut with some tangled thread underneath. I added the blue torn piece of patterned paper and stitched it with my sewing machine Finally I added a Creative Embellishment wood veneer heart:

I hand cut the tag and added a few more layers of patterned papers under my photo. I also added a few more diecuts and some tangled thread:

I hand cut the star, fussy cut the small green stars and added a few stickers:

Dream

Hey there!
I am excited to share that I was asked to be a guest designer this month at Stick It Down. Stick It Down is collaborating with Scrap The Boys this month.
I played along with the sketch from Stick It Down and the moodboard for Scrap The Boys and came up with this layout of Austin:
I used watercolors and a Creative Embellishment stamp (Twinkle) for my background. I used the heart cut file designed by Laura and cut it out on white cardstock. I then hand cut 2 more hearts- one from tissue paper and another from a Studio Calico transparency. I machine stitched them all down using gold thread:

I added a torn piece of paper and a hand cut tag under my photo. Then I used ephemera from Fancy Pants Dream Big, tangled thread and an Elle's Studio acrylic heart: 

A few more ephemera pieces and some more tangled thread.

I used the negative hearts from the cut file and added watercolor to them in an ombre effect to match the mood board:

I fussy cut my title "Dream" from an AC Shimelle Little By Little paper. I also added a few puffy stickers, a few Teresa Collins Word Snippets and some black Heidi Swapp spatters:

Hi there!
I am here today to share a layout I have up over on the ScraPerfect Blog today.
I used a cut file from Just Nick and added ScraPerfect Transfer Foil to it using The Best Glue Ever. I used items from my stash for this Christmas page of Austin and I:

I added watercolor to the background:

I added a poinsettia, I think this is from Prima:

I added a few corrugated trees to add some texture. I fussy cut the red glitter hearts from a Paper House paper:

Hey there!
I can't believe it is Monday already! Where oh where did the weekend go?!
I created this page yesterday for the Rubber Buggy Mood Board challenge and the Take 5 challenge at Paper Issues.
I used some of my Echo Park Splash stash along with a cut file from Paper Issues for this page of Sierra. I added watercolors to the cloud cut file and also added watercolors to my background:

I fussy cut the crab from a sticker sheet. I also fussy cut the blue and orange wave from one of the papers:

I added some machine stitching to the solid clouds and to the wave. I added a few water bubble stickers throughout the layout:

I fussy cut the "Just add water" from the sticker sheet as well.

I love how adding cut files  along with this very old line from Echo park makes it look new and trendy!

Hello! Happy Sunday!
Hope you are having a great weekend! I spent some time scrapping yesterday and got 2 layouts done!
I played along with the CSI February 1st case file. I used a Rubber Buggy sketch and came up with this page of Austin and I. I combined Basic Grey Prism and JilliBean Soup Mushroom Medley:

I used a Paper Issues cut file and used watercolor to color them:

I fussy cut the card from one of the papers, added patterned paper behind it and  JilliBean sticker under it:

I love how this title turned out! I just combined 2 different watercolors and blended them together in the middle. I added some JilliBean diecuts, popping the first cloud up with foam tape:

I used the colors along with a solid white background, mixed media background, flowers and hearts. I also documented a summer memory.

Love Out Loud

I created this layout last weekend using the February 1st sketch at Stuck?! and combined it with the This or That challenge at Paper Issues and the Golden Globe challenge at Scrap Our Stash.

I added a few tags behind my photos, added some twine. I fussy cut the "Love out Loud" from one of the papers and added a doily and diecut:

I hand wrote "on the" and added some Thickers for part of my title. I added some Simple Stories enamel dots and a flair from Creative Embellishments:

Green Beans

Hello!

I was looking through my pins on Pinterest for inspiration for today's challenge over at Creative Inspiration and came across a few pins that involved cutting your photo in strips. It has been quite awhile since I have done this, so I decided to try it again. My challenge is to cut it up! Your photo that is.

I used mostly Studio Calico for this layout along with Crate Paper DIY tags and October Afternoon alphas and Thickers for my title:

I added some Heidi Swapp mist spatters to my background:

I fussy cut the word "fresh" from one of the papers and added a few wood veneer suns. I think these are Studio Calico as well: 

I popped my photo strips up with foam so that I could add a few embellies peeking out:

I fussy cut the canning jars, made a tag and added a few more wood veneer pieces:

The Story of Us

Hey there!
I am sharing a layout I created last weekend using a Paper Issues cut file and sketch along with the February challenge at Creative Embellishments.
I used Simple Stories the Story of Us paper pad and combined it with a few Creative Embellishment goodies.

I fussy cut the title from one of the 4x6 cards in the paper pad. I added a CE flair and a few CE chipboard hearts:

I used a CE chipboard heart and layered it by the photo of Greg and I:

I backed the cut file with a few of the Simple Stories papers. I fussy cut the flowers and added another chipboard heart:

I told the story of "US" on a tag that I placed under the photo:

I was inspired by the neutral colors and the postcard.

Hello! Happy Monday!
There's a new challenge up over at Cards In Envy today. The challenge is: Love You So Much.  Create a card that fits in a regular envelope and requires no extra postage and has a love or valentine theme.
I used some very old papers from my stash. They are so old, I don't know what company they are from! LOL!

I created a few layers and then added some machine stitching. I fussy cut the flowers attaching them with The Best Glue Ever by ScraPerfect and then fluffed up the edges to give a little dimension:

Scraplift

Hey there!
It is my day to post the scraplift challenge today over at Creative Inspiration.

I lifted a layout by Laurie and used an older Clique kit from my stash and came up with this page:

I added some watercolor and mist spatters to my background. The heart cut file is from Paper Issues. I cut it out of white cardstock and added some watercolor. Finally stitching around it:

I added the Thickers word "ok" and then fussy cut the "smile"from one of the papers. I added a few pieces of torn washi tape to border my title and photo:
