Autumn Is In The Air

Hey there!
I am sharing a layout I created and have up on the Paper House Productions Blog today.
I used the new Paper House Autumn Woods line. I love the crisp colors of red, orange, teal and brown in this gorgeous collection!

  Autumn Is In The Air

For my background, I used the Autumn Air paper and cut it in half, flipped one over and stitched them together. I added a few layers behind my photo using a few of the cards cut from Woodland Friends Tags paper. They were to small to fit behind my entire photo, so I cut them in half as well. I fussy cut the leaves from  the Autumn Woods paper and the foxes from the Woodland Friends Tags paper.

I used a journal box and word strips that I fussy cut from the Woodland Friends Tags paper. I just love this cute little fox! Isn't he adorable?

Here is another leaf I fussy cut, curled up and tucked behind my journal card:

I finished the layout off with some black mist spatters.
Have you created any fall layouts yet?
Until next time, stay scrappy my friends!

The Boys

Hey there everyone!
It's my day up on the Sketches In Thyme Blog to share a layout using the sketch.
I used  Cocoa Vanilla and Echo Park for this photo of Austin and some of his friends on the football team before the Homecoming parade last year.

I added some stitching and a cluster of embellies to the bottom left along with my title:

I love these Scrabble looking wood veneer letters and combined them with his jersey number:

I fussy cut this fun banner and added some arrows, wood veneer stars and black mist spatters:

Here is another cluster of yummy embellies:

Here is the sketch if you would like to play along:

I used watercolors to create a background for my title and popped up the & sign with foam tape:

I added some ribbon from my stash to the tag:

I used Gelatos to color the wood veneer and added a few Simple Stories enamel dots:

September 15th Stuck?! Sketch

Hey there! Hope you are having a fantastic weekend so far!
One of my sisters and I are visiting my daughter at college. I am so excited to see her, it's been 3 weeks!
Any who, I played along with the September 15th sketch at Stuck?! They are celebrating their birthday this month, go check it out!
I used a variety of papers (yes, I am still working on my stash!):
Green is from Fancy Pants Atwell.
Orange is from Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss and
The teal is from Dear Lizzie Happy Place.

I added watercolor to my background using the packaging technique> I used a variety of embellies on this page as well.
The "Clever" camera is from Shimelle.
The "Always fabulous is Pink Paislee.
The black  and white stickers are Simple Stories.

I used a Silhouette cut file and used my Cameo to cut it:

I saved a few of the negative pieces from the cut file and created 3 flowers with them. Again, more Pink Paislee, Simple Stories and Shimelle embellies:

These Thickers have been in my stash for quite some time, so I stitched over them to hold them in place.

Here is Laura's fun sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
