You Are Loved

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
I am popping in real quick to share a layout I created using the May Hip Kit Club kit along with a cut file of theirs and a sketch.
I started my layout with a plain piece of white cardstock and added some texture paste through a Tim Holtz stencil. When that was dry, I added watercolors using the packaging technique and let it dry. Finally, I added some stamping with black ink.

I added a bunch of diecuts and enamel dots from the kit:

I used a cut file from Hip Kit and cut the leaves out on white cardstock and added different shades of green watercolors. I added more diecuts and fussy cut the hot air balloons from one of the papers.

I added more hot air balloons, a diecut cloud and a gold chipboard heart sticker:

I love how fun and whimsical this layout turned out!
Enjoy your day!

Merci

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created over the weekend for a sketch challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap and a stash challenge at Creative Inspiration.
I used Echo Park Anything Goes for this Mother's Day layout:

I used lots of stickers in this embellie cluster. I popped up the big flower cluster using foam tape:

Another embellie cluster using stickers:

I thought this bronze colored "Merci" Thicker was perfect for my title since the spinner is bronze colored. I added round alphas and also a bronze colored sticker border:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Best Cleaner Ever!

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a fast and easy way to take gum off upholstery.
I was in the process of cleaning my daughter's car to get it ready to sell. I noticed there was a wad of gum on the back seat. Yeah, she doesn't know how it got there, lol!
I decided to try the Best Cleaner Ever and I am so happy that was the first thing I tried! It worked very well and was fast and easy!

Here is what it looked like before I started:

I sprayed it with the Best Cleaner Ever and let it sit 5 minutes:

I took a paper towel, wiped it and scrapped it.

I did this 2 more times and this was the result:

I was so happy with the results! So next time you are looking for something to take gum out, try the Best Cleaner Ever! I am so happy I did!

That Smile!

Hi there!
Happy Monday! Hope your week is starting out great so far.
I am sharing a layout I just finished using the June 1st sketch at Let's Get Sketchy and a photo inspiration challenge at Creative Inspiration.
I used lots of stash on this layout, including Elle's Studio Penelope, Bella Blvd. alphas and the pink alphas I have had in my stash forever.

I added lots of layers, stitching and some Spiegelmom cork:

I added a frame to the top of my photo using foam tape:

Here's a close up of my title:

Here is the sketch:

I did change it up a bit.

Here is the pic for inspiration:

I was inspired by the colors.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!

Another Christmas Card

Hello!
Yeah, I know what you are thinking, CHRISTMAS? Is she crazy?!
Well I make all my Christmas cards, each one is different, and I usually send out about 40 of them. If I don't start making them early, I will never get enough of them done.
Any who, I used Echo Park along with a sketch challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap for this card:

Like I usually do, I added stitching to hold my layers together. I also added a few stickers and some pearl bling.

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

A Christmas Card

Hi there,
I am back today to share another Christmas card. I used Echo Park along with the photo challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and came up with this:

I added lots of layers, stitching, stickers and pearls to this fun card.
Here is the challenge:

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Walk Thru

Hello and happy Saturday!
Hope you are having a great weekend so far!
I am sharing a layout I created using the June 15th sketch at Let's Get Sketchy. It's been awhile since I played over there, probably since I was on their design team. I saw their sketch and just had to play along.
I used a Heidi Swapp paper for my background and the rest is Crate Paper Maggie Holmes Bloom for this layout of Sierra:

I loved adding all these bits and pieces from the collection along with some fussy but butterflies:

I dusted off my hexagon punch and it was great to use it again. I added my journaling on 3 of the stickers from the sticker sheet.

I used 3 different fonts for my title. Those pink alphas have been in my stash for about 20 years. It felt so good to use some of them!

I added a leaf diecut along with a few stickers and another fussy cut butterfly:

Here is the fun sketch:

This was such a fun layout to create and I love how it came out!

Seize the Day!

Hey there!
I am back today to share a layout I created using a sketch at Sketches In Thyme.

I used Pink Fresh Live More for this page of my daughter and a few friends at their Senior Dessert:

I changed up the sketch a bit by not adding strips across the top and bottom, instead I used this background paper. It reminded me of the base of the sketch. I also tilted my photo and strips.

I added some stitching through the strips of patterned papers.

I added lots of diecuts from this collection.

I also added some mist spatters.

Here is the sketch:

We would love to have you play along with us!
Enjoy your day!

Fresh Air

Hey there scrappy friend,
Today I am sharing a layout I created using case file #232 at CSI along with a lift challenge at Paper Issues.
I used some Echo Park and Simple Stories from my stash:

I fussy cut the trees and squirrel from one of the papers:

Some more fussy cutting and I added a few words from patterned paper as well:

The fox was also fussy cut and I added a fishing pole sticker and fish I stitched my layers together using white thread:

Here is the case file:

I used:
the color scheme and added the color orange.
Evidence: wood background, animals, trees and stitching
Testimony: document something about the outdoors and put your journaling in a pocket. I created my pocket with papers and stitching in the top right corner above my photo.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Live

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created combining a few challenges: the Tic-Tac-Toe stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash and a sketch challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap.
I used Pink Fresh for this layout of Austin and a few friends:

I added lots of diecuts and a fussy cut & sign:

I fussy cut my title from the 6x6 paper pad and added that cute rainbow:

I fussy cut the banner from one of the 6x6 papers. I also added a diecut circle, puffy sticker and chipboard sticker:

Here is the tic tac toe board:

I used the middle row: camera, rainbow and puffy stickers (Dear Lizzie)

Here is the sketch:

I just flipped it on its side.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Cards In Envy

Hello!
I am here today to share my card for the new challenge over at Cards In Envy. The challenge is to create a white on white card.

Here's what I came up with:

I embossed a piece of white cardstock and then layered a doily, snowflake (this was cut on my Cameo  using a cutfile. It had been there for quite awhile, so I am not sure where I got the cutfile from. Thinking it's from the Silhouette store.) Then I stitched the layers together. Finally I added some tangled thread and the chipboard word "Joy", which I painted white. I finished it off with a few scraps of ribbon.

This was quite a challenge for me, but I love how it came out. (I also have another Christmas card done!)

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

The Best Cleaner Ever!

Hey there!
Today I am going to share a tip with you.
Last month, my son and I were helping my husband cut down a pine tree. My son and I got pine pitch on our hands and clothes. After several attempts of watching my son wash his hands and the pine pitch not going anywhere, I grabbed my bottle of the Best Cleaner Ever and told him to spray my hand with it.

He sprayed the Best Cleaner Ever on my hand and I let it sit a minute. I rubbed my hands together and then washed them.

This was the result:

Nice and clean and ao sticky pine pitch! He did his hands and had the same results!
Then I thought, if it will take it off hands, why not clothes?

So I sprayed the spots on his pants:

Here was the result:

My son thought his favorite sweat pants were ruined. So happy I thought to grab The Best Cleaner Ever! He can still wear these pants to school!
I need to get another bottle and keep it in the laundry room!
