June Project Life

Hey there!
Hope you are having a fantastic weekend so far!
Today I am sharing my June Project Life layout and sketch for Turtle Soup. I am also entering this layout for the butterfly challenge at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge Blog.
I have been trying to use some of my stash lately and for this 2 pager, I pulled out Echo Park Splash. I used a Silhouette cut file and miscellaneous embellies from my stash as well.

I added some watercolor, using the packaging technique, and black mist spatters to my background.

I colored the butterflies with watercolor and added brads in the middle of the bigger ones.

Here is the sketch I created:

The "snap shots" and "picture this" is a cut file but I can't remember who it is from. I used watercolor on those as well.

Of coarse, I had to add a bit of stitching.

I used foam tape to pop up a few of the embellies to give dimension.

One last close up.

March Project 12

Welcome to the weekend!
I am sharing my project 12 sketch and layout here today that I posted today over at Turtle Soup for this month's challenge.
I used items from my stash and it felt so good! I used an old WRMK collection pack. I have had this in my stash for at least 10 years if not longer.

Cheesehead!

Hey there!
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend so far!
Once again this year I am hosting the Project 12 at Turtle Soup.
On the first Saturday of the month, I will be posting a 2 page sketch for you to use with the previous months photos. Example: February 6th I will post a sketch and you will use photos from January. This is a fun a fast way to do Project Life. I also use a lot of photos I wouldn't normally scrap- you know those photos that just aren't perfect?!
I posted a cover page challenge this morning and found an hour to play with the sketch challenge from Let's Capture Our Memories and decided to use this sketch to jump start my cover page.
I used Pink Paislee Solstice. I love this line!

I used my Cameo to cut the cheese (LOL) and used a black marker to outline it.

 

 

I used my Cameo to also cut the leaf sprays:

 

Yup, used it to cut the #family too. I added journaling strips:

 

The frame and "Cheesehead" was also cut with the Cameo:

December Project 12

Happy Sunday!
It's a sad day here- last day of Christmas break for the kids and I. Back to school for them and back to work for me tomorrow. Plus it's snowing and with the wind chill it is suppose to be 30-40 below later today/tomorrow. Gotta love living in Wisconsin, LOL!

It's that time again! Where oh where did November go?!

August Project 12

My nephew is getting married today. So I just wanna give a big shout out to Alan and Kim- HAPPY WEDDING DAY!
