Good afternoon!
Just wanted to share a layout I created with Sketchabilities sketch #120 before I head to Kohl's to do a little shopping.
I used Elle's Penelope collection along with the sketch and combined Missy's stamp embellishment challenge at My Scraps & More. I added some old book pages to my white cardstock and then applies Gesso over the top of them.

 

I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to cut my circle.

 

I stamped the chevrons, circles

 

sun and cloud and then painted them with watercolors.

 

I popped the frame off the photo with pop dots.

                                                                   Here is the fun sketch:

 

Now I am off to do some shopping!

Just Go!

Hey there scrappy friends!
As you know from my previous post, I am enjoying some scrappy time today! I played along with Sketch-N-Scrap's #62 sketch.
I used Chic Tags Let's Go Collection along with a wood veneer piece from Studio Calico for this layout of the kids and I at Niagara Falls:

                                                     I fussy cut the tag and cameras.

 

I added watercolor to the "Just Go" wood veneer:

Selfie

Good afternoon!
I had a little scrapping time today and decided to play along with sketch #83 from Let's Capture Our Memories and paired it with the August "Selfie" Stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash. The challenge was to use a selfie photo and for the stash item was a premade/packaged frame. I love frames and selfies, so this was an easy challenge for me.

I used a selfie of Sierra and used Simple stories:

I added some Anna Griffin alphas that have been in my stash for quite some time:

 

and added some stitching:

Toes In The Sand

Hey there!
With DH being on vacation all week, I haven't had much scrappy time. So today I got up early just so I could sneak in a little time, YAY ME!
I decided to play along with the August 1st sketch over at  Stuck?! I love Laura's sketches, they are so fun and the my layouts seem to come together so fast.
I used photos of Greg and Austin at a Brewers game this spring that a friend of mine took along with Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day collection:

July, 2014- Project 12

Happy Sunday!
I just wanted to share my July Project 12 sketch and layout for Turtle Soup. On the first Saturday of every month,  I post a 2 page sketch for you to play along with. All you have to do is use your photos from the previous month on a 2 page layout.
