ES Walk Thru

Hello!
I am back today to share another layout created a week or so ago.
I was excited to see Sketchabilities is back with a monthly sketch and just had to play along!
I used lots from my stash along with a cut file from Just Nick for this layout of Austin:

I added a few swipes of Distress Oxide inks, some water and stamped in black ink using a Creative Embellishment stamp. I cut the cut file out of white cardstock and then added some of the Distress Oxide inks to them. I added a punched border, some stars, enamel dots and a Heidi Swapp sticker:

I used a few different fonts for my title, all are Thickers. I used a Chic tag for my journaling. I fussy cut some flowers and added more enamel. Finally I stamped the date:

Here I added a silver doily, a Just Nick cut file, another fussy cut flower, some more enamel and a flair:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

Darling

Hey there scrappy friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created this morning using Sketchabilities sketch #145 and Turtle Soup's Geography challenge for their mini crop.

I used a selfie of Greg and I while camping at Snyder Park in June along with Crate Paper Love Notes:

I used a Prima stencil, light modeling paste, Creative Embellishment stamp, Gelatos, watercolors and mist to create my background:

The frame is also from Creative Embellishments. I added Gesso and then Gelatos to color it.
The hearts are Studio Calico colored with a Gelato. I fussy cute the doily and added some acrylic hearts. The scalloped borders are fussy cut from branding strips:

The "darling" wood veneer is from Studio Calico also and colored with Gelatos. I added some flair, acrylic arrow and some stitching:

I love that huge acrylic heart:

Here are some close ups:
Here I used one of Creative Embellishments frames and added some Gesso and inks:

The word "flower" I cut using my Cameo and then colored it with Gelatos and water.
I used some Thickers for the word "gardens" and stitched in place:

I used the chicken wire chipboard border and heat embossed it with silver to match the fence in my photos:

I stamped the fairy, colored it with Gelatos and fussy cut it. I also added some washi tapes:

The flowers were fussy cut from patterned paper and colored with Gelatos:

Family Fun

Happy Wednesday!
It has been a busy week so far, but I am taking a few minutes to post a layout I created using sketch #138 at Sketchabilities. I love playing along with their sketches, it brings out the messy side of me!

I used a photo of Greg, the kids and I on a stop along the way of our Jet Boat Tour in the Wisconsin Dells last summer. If you ever get there, make sure to take this awesome ride!
I used a baby line from Crate Paper- Little Bo Peep:

I fussy cut the flowers and used my Cameo to cut the green leaves, which I added watercolor to:

I also cut the word "Family" on my Cameo and the word "Fun" are Thickers. I stitched a thin punched border:

I fussy cut the tags from one of the papers as well:

This shows my stamped & watercolored background:

Here is the fun sketch I used:

Thanks for stopping by. Now I am off to make meatloaf and mashed potatoes for dinner, booster club meeting and then hoping to catch the end of Survivor.

Happy Easter!

Good morning and happy Easter! Hope everyone is spending time with their families today. We are having a quiet Easter with just the 4 of us at home this year. I am looking forward to it!

Today I am sharing a layout I created using Sketchabilities sketch #136 along with Scrap Our Stash word challenge. The challenge is to use something on your layout from each letter of the word: STAMP. Here is what I came up with:

Here are some close ups:
I used a stencil to apply texture paste. Once it was dry, I added some watercolors and mist to add texture to my background:

I stamped some leaves/acorns, fussy cut them and added them throughout my layout. I have had this leave and felt acorn in my stash and thought it was perfect for this fall page:

This butterfly has been in my stash for quite some time too:

Here you can see one of wood veneer leaves that I inked. I also added some enamel hearts and an arrow:

Here are the things I used:
S- stencil and stitching
T- texture paste
A- acorns
M- Martha Stewart stamps
P- Pink Paislee papers, photo turns and punch.

                                                                   Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoy your Easter!

So Pretty

Happy St. Patrick's Day Scrappy Friends!
I started a layout this weekend and finally got it done this morning. I just want to shre it with you real quick.
I used a Sketchabilities sketch along with Elle's Studio alphas and Cloud 9 papers.

I used a  Hero Arts stencil and light modeling paste to create the triangles on my background. Then I used a Stampendous stamp along with some ink to add more texture, I topped it off with a Tim Holtz stencil, some more ink and Gelatos.

I cut the leaves using a Silhouette file and my Cameo. I also cut the word "Pretty" on my Cameo:

I added a Recollection wood arrow,

Bella Blvd. washi tape and some thread.

I love using Sketchabilities sketches, they bring out my creative messy side:)

Nice Ride!

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
I played with Sketchabilities sketch #132 yesterday and finished it this morning and wanted to share it today. I combined the sketch with Creative Embellishments February ombre challenge for this fun layout of Sierra on a motorcycle at a shop on Clifton Hills by Niagara Falls:

Here are some detail shots of my work:

I used a chevron stencil and added light modeling paste.
I also used a stencil and a Sharpie for my circles and triangles:

Added a few different mists and let it drip:

The chipboard piece is from Creative Embellishments. I cut it, stamped it and then added embossing powder with heat. I love how it turned out!

I added some flowers, a butterfly, buttons and bling.

Here is the sketch:

and Creative Embellishments challenge: Please be inspired by at least one element in the photo and the twist is use an ombre effect anywhere on your project

I was inspired by the bubbles and the monochromatic color in this picture.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!
