Merry & Bright

Good morning!
Today I am sharing a card I created for a challenge over at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown. The challenge is to create a Christmas card using the colors red, black and kraft. I used kraft card stock for my base and added some red and black from Pink Paislee and a Simple Stories bingo card:

I fussy cut the trees and the postmark. I also used red thread and added some machine stitching.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday!

XOXO

Hey there scrappy friends!
It's my day to post the scrap lift challenge over at the Turtle Soup today.

I lifted a super cute page by Laurie, used Maggie Holmes Bloom and came up with this selfie page of Austin and I taken on July 4th weekend. It's not very often that he lets me take pics of him, so I was happy that he did that day. Love this photo of us!

I heart the pops of gold in this collection and had to use some!

I backed the cut out heart with some green paper and fussy cut a butterfly. I also added a few word stickers and that cute hexagon. Some I popped up with foam tape to add some dimension.

Swoon! More yummy glittery gold! Love it!

Thanks for stopping by and keep scrappy!

Explore

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a challenge at 123 Challenge Blog along with Paper Issues Cut It Up Challenge. I used Simple Stories Take A Hike for this layout:

I cut the cut file from white cardstock and used brown watercolor to color it. I added some watercolor to my background using the packaging technique and then added some distressed in through a stencil. Then I stitched it in place using a straight and zigzag stitch:

I added lots of stickers, some popped up with foam tape:

I fussy cut the "Explore" card and used it as part of my title:

Here is the challenge from 123:

1. I used a variety of "Chocolate" colors
2: Explore Nature is my title
3. I used a stencil from Prima with multiple squares and inked it to add some contrast to my background.

Thanks for checking out my layout!

Together

Hello and happy Tuesday!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using the August 1st  sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap along with Pink Paislee Cedar Lane and came up with this page of my God daughter and I on Christmas Eve:

I used, I believe, old Fancy Pants alphas and stitched them in place over a few torn strips of papers:

I fussy cut this cluster of flowers and added a leaf acetate under it along with a pink and glittery gold circle. I popped up the wood looking frame with foam tape and added a gold glitter hear and the "You & Me" banner:

Here I added a fussy cut flower and some hearts along with a clear acetate "Memories" banner:

This is the fun sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Splash!

Hello!
Today I am sharing a layout I made using the August sketch at Creative Scrappers  and a cut file from The Cut Shoppe. I used Crate Paper Poolside, Notes & Things and some embellies from Dear Lizzie for this fun page of Sierra when she was younger:

I added some watercolor to my background using the packaging technique. I cut  a few each of the circles and painted them with watercolor:

I added a cluster of cute embellies and some tangled thread:

I created my own tag from patterned paper and added some enamel dots:

I popped the sun up with foam tape and added some tangled thread and a sticker. I finally found use for this diver, lol!

I fussy cut the word "Splash" from a PL card and added a Fancy Pants flair. I also used 2 different washi tapes:

I am not quite sure that I like how this layout turned out, seems too busy to me, LOL!

Here is the fun sketch:

Grateful

Happy hump day!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using the August 1st sketch at Stuck?!
I used Pink Paislee Cedar lane, which is a fall line for these Christmas pics of Sierra:

The purple matched the tote perfect, so that is what prompted me to use this line.
I added bits and pieces from the Ephemera pack, love the pops of gold!

I added some banner strips and a heart popped up with foam tape:

Here is Laura's fabulous sketch:

Have a great day!

Vacation Fun

Hello and happy Friday!
Any fun plans for the weekend?
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a few different challenges. I used a variety of products on this layout as well.

I used a cut file from the Silhouette Studio Store along with papers from Pink Paislee.
I stitched the cut file in place. The orange journaling card (which I forgot to add my journaling to, lol) is from Making Memories, maybe? It's old! The rest of the embellies here are from Fancy Pants and Pink Paislee:

The globe was fussy cut from an Echo Park paper and the camera was fussy cut from a Pink Paislee paper, I believe. The "Silly Moments" sticker was from Fancy Pants. The title is also a mix- "Vacation" is from Pink Paislee and "Fun" are some Thickers  I had in my stash:

I added a few Simple Stories stickers to this page as well:

Here are the challenges I played along with:

Sketch challenge at the Turtle Soup:

Let's Go For The Gold Challenge at Paper Issues:
I created a travel page.

and Scrap Our Stash Book Inspired layout challenge:

I took inspiration from the map and used the world cut file. I also took inspiration from the pointed finger and used a journal card that had one on.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
