King For The Day

Hey there Friends!
Just wanted to share a fun birthday card with you that I have up on the Dies R Us blog today. I used the Echo Park Birthday Boy collection for this card:

I cut the Amy Designs Sound of Music Frame from silver cardstock. I layered a few patterned papers under it and added some machine stitching. I popped a sticker up with foam tape:

Here are the products I used from the store:

I love how fast this card came together!

15: CSI

Hey there friends!
Hope you had a wonderful and safe new years eve!
I am sharing the layout I created for the new case file at CSI. I used mostly Webster Pages Citrus Squeeze stash for this fun birthday page:

I used the packaging technique with watercolors to create my background. I cut a bunch of triangles from patterned papers for my banners. I glued them in place and added some machine stitching. I fussy cut the "15" lemon and "I love you" banner from a few papers from the collection:

I fussy cut the flowers and layered them by the lower right side of my photo. The camper was fussy cut from a JilliBean paper. I added a few Tim Holtz stickers and used a stamp for my date:

Another fussy cut flower, a fun fussy cut pennant, another Tim Holtz sticker and some handwriting finished off my title:

Here is the case file:
I was inspired by the colors, banners, camper and hearts on strings. For evidence, I used polka dots, floral pattern, stripes, stitching, banner, camper, flowers, bows (on heart strings) and birthday accents. For my testimony, I documented a birthday celebration.
I love how this layout came together!
Hope you will play along with us!

Camping

Hey there friends! Happy New Year!
I am excited to be back at Creative Embellishments for this design term! I created for them about a year ago and enjoyed every minute of it using there wonderful chipboard, stamps and flair!
Here is my layout using the January photo inspiration. The twist is to add snow to your project.
When I saw this pic, I instantly thought of camping trip we took with friends in mid October. It snowed! First time I camped in the snow, LOL! I used some old papers from my stash for this layout:

I used watercolors and the Twinkle Stamp on my white cardstock background.
I sprayed the Snowflake Frame 2 with a few different mists and added gemstones to the centers of some of the snowflakes:

I used the word "camping"  from the Camping Word Set and added some Gesso and acrylic paint to it:

For the rest of my title, I used the Basic Alphabet and covered it with Gesso and a few different colors of acrylic paint:

I added the camper from the Camping Set and added a few Chipboard Snowflakes as well. I used Gesso and acrylic paint on the camper. I finished it off with some Stickles. I used Gesso and mists along with Stickles on the snowflakes:

Here's the inspiration photo:

I was inspired by the blues, peaches and of coarse, the winter theme.
I would love if you stopped over to the Creative Embellishment blog and tell them I sent you!

Merry Christmas

Hello and welcome back!
I hope you had a merry Christmas and will have an amazing new year!

I am back today to share an easy but beautiful Christmas card I have up at Dies R Us.

Here is a close up:

I cut the Wintertide Frame from blue foil paper. I adhered it on patterned paper using the Best Glue Ever. I cut my sentiment, Merry Christmas,  3 times from white cardstock and used the Best Glue Ever to adhere that as well.

These are the products I used:

Hello Winter!

Hello!
I had some scrappy time this morning, so I played along with a few challenges. I combined the single page sketch at Stick It Down with the golden globe stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash and the swanky swatches challenge at Paper Issues and came up with this fun winter page:

I used the Frosty Flakes cut file from The Cut Shoppe along with the November 2016 Hip Kit Club kit. I colored the cut file with some mists and then machine stitched it to my background. I fussy cut the trees from one of the papers. I used some old Pink Paislee alphas for my title:

I added several layers of papers and a few die cuts under and around my photo. I also added some enamel dots and a few more fussy cut trees:

Here I added a Crate Paper clip, I just removed the clip. I added a few die cuts, another fussy cut tree , an enamel dot and a punched snowflake:

This was such a fun page to create!
Here are the challenges I used:

XO

Hey there scrappy friends!
I have a layout up over on the ScraPerfect blog today.
I used the Best Glue Ever along with the No Clog Writing Cap attached, a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and an old Crate Paper collection for this layout of  Sierra and her boyfriend at Vegan Fest in Madison:

I used watercolors to create my background and then added black mist spatters.
I love the combination of this glue with the cap, it is perfect for adding glue to small spaces like this cut file:

I backed the cut file with patterned papers. I added some layers of papers under my photo and popped it up with foam. I added some chipboard, stickers and a flair from the collection:

Because of the mixed media work on my background, I added the Best Glue Ever to adhere all the chipboard pieces:

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

Snowflake Card

Hello!
I played along with a card sketch at Stick It Down this morning. I used a few different papers: the blue snowflake one is from Fancy Pants Holiday Hustle and the silver glitter paper is from Walmart. I also added a torn strip of vellum and stitched in place:

The blue snowflakes are die cuts from Fancy Pants Cottage Christmas collection. I just trimmed some of the white off the outside. I used two different snowflake punches and added some bling. The sentiment stickers are from Simple Stories.
I love how sparkly this card is, it's even better in person!
Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

One More Card

Hello again!
I am back to share another Christmas card using a Sketch-N-Scrap sketch. I also used Fancy Pants Holiday Hustle for this card:

I punched a few circles, added some stitching, a die cut and fussy cut the sentiment from a patterned paper.

Here's the sketch:

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Merry Holidays

Hello friends! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that santa brought you everything you asked for!
I love this time of year, I am off work and enjoy a bit more scrappy time!
I played along with a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap and used Fancy Pants Holiday Hustle for this Christmas card: (Yes, I have a head start for next year!)

I fussy cut the sentiment from one of the papers, placed it on the snowflake die cut and layered  a few papers under it. I also added some machine stitching.
Here's the sketch:
