I used a photo of Sierra coloring Easter eggs a few years ago along with some JilliBean Soup and Bella Blvd and came up with this:

I hand stitched the pink square using embroidery floss. It has been awhile since I hand stitched on a layout and it was really relaxing!

I fussy cut the word "Springtime"  and also that cute little pink frog. Isn't she adorable?!

The rainbow is probably my favorite part. I fussy cut it and popped it up with foam tape to give some dimension.

I added a few stickers, a fussy cut egg, umbrella and bee.

ColorWays

Hello there scrappy friends!
How often do you scrap a layout about yourself? Years ago, I didn't scrap any photos of me, but that has been one of my resolutions for the last few years. Besides, selfies are popular now, so snap away :) Today I am sharing a layout I created using the gorgeous Flamingo ColorWays collection and yes, a selfie of me! I used my Cameo to cut the cut file and then backed the squares with different Flamingo ColorWays patterned papers. I love the outcome!



I just wanted to share some close ups of these stunning papers and embellishments:

Mostly Purple

Hi there Scrappy Friends!
There is a new challenge up over at Cards In Envy today.

The challenge is to use mostly purple on your flat card. This was a challenge for me as I rarely use purple and don't have a lot of it in my scrappy supplies. So I dug in my supplies, found a few purple things  and came up with this:

 

I love the outcome!

I used watercolors for my background, added a purple doily, a few cut files from The Cut Shoppe and topped it off with some flowers and twine.

February Project 12

Happy Saturday!
Hope you are having a great weekend so far.
Today I posted my Project 12 layout and sketch over on the Turtle Soup and wanted to share it here as well.
I used an American Crafts paper pad I have had in my stash for a few years and came up with this:

I used a cut file from the Silhouette store and cut 2 of them at a little over 10". I colored them with yellow watercolor and then splattered with a pink mist. Finally stitching them in place once they were dry.

 

 

I fussy cut the "hello" and the flowers from a few patterned papers:

 

I also fussy cut the "Happy" circle and the small flower and popped them up with pop dots:

Dance

Good morning!
I am sharing my full reveal of the layout I had up yesterday over on the Robin's Nest Blog.
I used a photo of me the photographer had taken of me dancing at my nephews wedding.

 

I love the colors on these papers, they matched my dress perfectly!

So Pretty

Hey there!
Last weekend I had a little free time from some design team work and played along with the march 1st sketch at Stuck?! I always love playing along with Laura's sketches :)
I used Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss along with the Heidi Swapp background paper and some of her embellies for this layout of Sierra:

I love th e gold "So pretty" Thicker and just had to use it, finally, lol:

I added some white Gesso to my background and then added some watercolors on top. The totally arrow has been in my stash for quite awhile and the gold "chic" and "um, yeah" were in a Heidi Swapp package I picked up a few months ago on clearance at Michaels:

I beleve the XoXo came from the emphera pack fromCitrus Bliss. I fussy cut the "hello" card from one of the 6x6 patterned papers and added some thread under it:

I love those gold hearts I scattered  around the page! And check out the pie chart diecut! Love it! I backed it with different papers and then stitched it to my page:

I adhered the egg stickers onto white cardstock because I wasn't sure where I was putting them at first. This allows me to move them around freely. This also allowed me to pop a few up using pop dots.
