Friends Forever

Hey there!
I posted a new card challenge up on the Turtle Soup Message Board today for the Birthday Bash celebration we have going on over there. My challenge is to use items on your card that start with each letter of TURTLE.

Ticket To Summertime Fun

Good Sunday morning scrappy friends!
It's our monthly reveal for Just Imagine today.
This month's themes are: Summer vacations, holidays and sunny day.

I chose to do a layout about our summer vacation to visit Bev in Canada in 2012:

I previously had a cut out a circle from the blue patterned paper using the fabulous circle cutter and decided to use this for the base of my page. I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #309 and punched around half of the circle. I then punched a border using the same punch with no insert and used the negative or fall away piece for my border on the right side. Here are a few close ups:

 

I used an older Carta Bella line.

Just Imagine

Happy Saturday!
I have a card up on the Just Imagine Blog today and wanted to share it here too.
I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #903 with insert C for the corners. I used the same punch with no insert for my border and added the fall away piece to the top. I used an older line of My Mind's Eye.

 

I added some stitching and a flower with a brad in it. A fast, easy and elegant looking card.

You're Looking Good!

It's my day to post the Got Talent Mini challenge up over on the My Scraps & More message board.
I used photos of Austin dressed up for his first semi formal dance that he was taking his girlfriend, Cassidy to. He even surprised her with a pink rose!

Project 12

Hey there!
I posted my Project 12 page and sketch at the Turtle Soup on Saturday and finally getting it posted here.
Here is my double page using Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine:

 I stitched the grid and added some Magic Mesh behind my embellies:

 

 

When I add stickers to my pages, I like to put them on cardstock first, that way it is easier to see where I want them. I also usually add pop dots behind them to add dimension to my layout:

 

When I created my sketch, I knew I would have lots of pics, so I decided to do a big grid. Here is my sketch:

Stars & Stripes

Happy Monday!
Hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July weekend!
There's a new challenge up at Cards In Envy today. You got it, stars & stripes. Create an A2 card with stars & stripes on it.
I used My Mind's Eye American Made line. This was my all time favorite 4th of July collection and I only have a little bit left.

You & Me

Hello!

It's my day to post the Got Talent challenge today over at My Scraps & More.
 I challenged myself to create a layout using no patterned paper. Instead of patterned paper I decided to use embellies to add color and take up space on my layout. I love the out come of my layout!
I used Fancy Pants Burlap & Bouquets for my layout, a white marker to doodle some stitching and some Lawn Fawn Sequins:
