Today I am sharing another layout with you that I created for Creative Embellishments. These photos were taken in the Stockyards Station in Fort Worth Texas last January. I am a huge fan of using lights to decorate and thought this area was so pretty!
To create my background, I added light modeling paste through the Twinkle Star (upper) and Crackled Brick (lower) Stencils. Once it was dry, I added watercolors. I let it dry again and added some white acrylic paint spatters. I added a strip of torn wood grained patterned paper from PaperHouse and stitched it in place:
I inked a few of the Spruce Clusters, added white acrylic paint spatters. I added them to my background. I also tucked in the Christmas Light Strand 1. I inked this as well. I added my photos which I matted on black cardstock:
Here is the Spruce Cluster on the right side of my photos. The "be happy" and "my life" chipboard are Mambi chips from my stash:
I used Prima, HipKit Club and Thickers from my stash for my title, machine stitching some:
I used white acrylic paint and brown inks on the Horse & Buggy. I added it under my photos:
To finish off my layout, I added some white acryluc paint spatters, my journaling and some Tim Holtz and Simple Stories word phrase stickers:
I had a blast creating this fun layout!
I hope I have inspired you in some way. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
