Love You Always- A Now & Then Layout

Hey there Scrappy Friends!

Today I am sharing my take on the August challenge at Bramble Fox. The challenge this month is to scrap an old and a new photo. I decided to scrap photos of Greg and I. I used a recent one from May- we were in Oshkosh for a wedding and the old photo is from 1991- we were on vacation in Mexico.

I used Doodlebug Design Love Notes for this page along with some BF goodies:

I added watercolor to my background. I used a stencil to cut the bigger hearts and a punch for the smallest hearts. I machine stitched through them:

I used foam Thickers for the Now & Then and the years:

I popped my photos up on craft foam and put the largest heart in between them. I used the Love You Always for my title. This perspextive is so pretty! I added 3 teal Valentine Hearts along with some stickers from the Doodle Bug collection:

I also added 3 of the bright pink Valentine Hearts:

Happy Married Life

Hey there!

I am up on the Creative Embellishments blog today with another travel layout using the Finnely collection from Glitz along with some Creative Embellisment goodies. This pic is of my hubby, Greg and I on the beach at the Outer Banks. It was really windy and cold while we were there so this is as beachy as we got, lol!

   

 I added mists and watercolor to my white card stock background. I took the Distressed Grid Stamp and black ink and stamped it on top. I colored the Happy Married Life title piece with a black Sharpie. I added an acrylic flair and a wood veneer Heart, colored with a red Sharpie:

   

 I added a few Glitz PL cards, one behind my photo and the cute deer to the right. I added some machine stitching to it. I added a Heart Cluster piece, colored with a red Sharpie and added a few stickers from the collection:

   

 I used a big diecut-"oh baby" as part of my title. I added another wood veneer Heart to the upper left of my photo:

   

I am not sure how old this Glitz collection is, but it has to be at least 15 years old- it feels good to use my stash and it looks new again when combined with the CE goodies.

I am sharing a layout I created for Sketches In Thyme using sketch #530 along with Little Yellow Bicycle from my stash. They were one of my favorite companies back in the day so I basically hoarded their stuff, lol. Here's my page:

I layered a few patterned papers under my photo and then added some machine stitching. I added in a few acetate diecuts along with the leaves diecut. I popped up the chipboard taxi on foam tape to add some dimension and also tucked in a stick pin here:

I added a few cork butterflies and some enamel dots from my stash:

I hand cut a few tags and added some Divine Twine bows to the top:

I used foam alphas for my title:

I really enjoyed creating this page and using my stash.

Just Beachy

Hello everyone!

I am back to share a beach layout with you using some fun chippies from the Creative Embellishments store. I used photos from our Outer Banks trip along with Paper House Productions for this page:

   

 I added acrylic paints to all my CE chipboard pieces. I used the Just Beachy piece for my title:

   

 I added a few Seagulls in the sky:

 

I tucked in a Seagull to the left of my photo. I added the Grass and Mini Leaves as well. I added some clear sticker from Paper House and some burlap flowers from Little Birdie:

 

The Beach Fence Border was perfect for these photos! I tucked in a few more Seagulls here along with a patch of Seagrass and few more Mini Leaves:

   

 I finished of the page with some acrylic paint spatters. 

 I love how this page came out and I hope I have inspired you in some way.

Camping Shenanigans

 Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing a layout I created using case file #392 at CSI. 

I used mostly Simple Stories Happy trails for this fun page:

I used a pencil to sketch out the mountains on my backgound. I used Distress Oxide Inks through the 3 Tree Stencil from Creative Embellishment to create my trees. I added brown watercolor in between the trees for my mountains. I used Distress Oxide Inks and the Cloud Border Stencil for my clouds:

I added some diecuts popping some up with craft foam to add some dimension. I added Divine Twine to my journaling diecut:

I used foam Thickers for my title and added the date using a stamp:

I fussy cut the camera and popped that up as well:

I was inspired by the colors and the scene in the case file.

Road Trip

Hey there friends!

Todat I am back to share a travel layout with you that I created for Creative Embellishments. 

Back in March, Greg and I took a road trip to Nashville, Chattanooga and the Outer Banks. We had a blast! I used chipboard pieces from CE along with Simple Stories You Are Here collection. These are a few pics I took along the way:

   

I added watercolor to my white cardstock. For my title, I used the Road Trip chipboard piece and added patterned paper on top. I applied ink to the traffic light and backed it with patterned papers:

I added the "En Route" to which I added ink to color:

 

I backed my photos with patterned papers and added in some tags, stickers and twine.  I added patterned paper to the North Carolina chipboard piece and distressed and inked the edges. Then I added the "travel' inked piece on top:

 

The chipboard states were perfect to document this travel page! I love how this page came out!

Just For You

Today I am sharing a card I created for 88 and Clear using the Sweet Camper DigiNext collection:

I used Sweet Cane Sugar Stock for my base and then added a layer of  Rich Cherry Sugar Stock. I fussy cut lots of elements from the image sheet and added them on top. I popped the truck up with foam:

This was such a fun card to create!
