Excursion

Hey there friends!
Today is reveal day for the March challenge at Creative Embellishments. This month we are doing a collaboration with Rinea using their gorgeous foiled papers!

I used a photo of Sierra in Germany for this page. I used a cut file from Hip Kit Club and backed it with the beautiful foiled papers:

I used the greens from the Woodlands Foiled Paper Variety Pack, the blues from the Frosted Foiled Paper Variety Pack and the orange and pink from the Floral Foiled Variety Paper Pack to back the cut file. For my title, I used the word "Excursion" from the Travel Word Set 2

I added the Imagine Quote for my sub-title. I colored this piece and the Excursion piece with brown embossing powder. I heat set and let cool. Then added a glitter embossing powder on top for the twist on the challenge.

I added a few roses from Rose Set 1, colored with mist around the photo. I added some tangled thread under them:

I finished my layout off with watercolor, stitching, Tim Holtz word stickers and some enamel dots:

I love all the shine this page has in person. It is so hard to capture that in a picture.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the mood board, twist and play along with us!

Super Boy

Hello!
Today I am sharing my layout for case file #312 at CSI.
I used Echo Park That's My Boy, Scoot and All About A Boy for this photo of Austin when he was about 2 1/2:

I layered the Simple Stories Snap card along with a few patterned papers under my photo. I fussy cut the rocket and word phrases from papers from Shimelle True Stories collection:

I layered a bunch of papers on the right side of the layout for balance. The alphas are from one of the Echo park collections as is the banner and arrow.

Check out the case file and add your layout for the challenge on the CSI Facebook page.

Wine Country

Hey there!
I am back to share a fun layout with you using some chippies from Creative Embellishments.
Do you like wine? Wine tasting? Last fall we went to a vineyard up north and did some wine tasting with friends. We had a blast!
Here's my page:

I used Grapes and colored them with Dylusions for the grapes and used Shimmers on the leaves:

I used the Wine Pouring Set and colored the pieces with Lindy's and Dylusions mists. I love the sparkle the Lindy's added- perfect for those wine glasses and bottle. The set has 3 wine glasses and this bottle in it:

I used papers from my stash: Green- Echo park, Purple- from a big pad from Michaels and the clear with gold arrows is from Teresa Collins. I used 3D stickers from Paper House. Here is another one of the wine glasses from the Wine Pouring Set:

Here's the last glass and another look at the grapes. Check out all that shimmer! Love it!

This was such a fun layout to create! I love how it came out!
Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

Learning To Skate

Hello friends!
Today I am sharing my layout created for case file #311 at CSI. this is a stash busting challenge case file. The wreath cut file is from Hip Kit Club and the snowflakes are from the Snowed In cut file from the Cut Shoppe. This is a photo of Robin teaching Sierra to ice-skate in Germany:

I cut the cut files out on white textured cardstock. I machine stitched the wreath cut file to my page using white thread. After I had the layout finished, I wasn't happy with the wreath and took some watercolor and added  a bit of color to it. I love how it turned out! These felt snowflakes have been in my stash forever. They already had the purple brads in them from years ago. I added the snowman button, skate sticker, Ice skating tag

I used a few alphas from my stash for the title and machine stitched through it. I added a parenthesis to the top of my photo along with a pennant, punched snowflake and to the left are a few tree stickers. Most of the stickers are from Simple Stories and papers are from Echo Park:

Here's a close up of the snowflakes in the cut file from the Cut Shoppe. I added a snowman button, punched snowflake, bling and snowflake brads. I used lots of brads and still have lots in my stash!

Coffee

Hey there!
I am back to share another Creative Embellishment layout with you. If you know me, you know I love my coffee in the morning. I not only love it, but need it. LOL! I used Pebbles Girl Squad and Studio Calico (Teal striped paper) for this layout. I heat embossed in black the Coffee A Hug In A Mug phrase and used it for the title on my layout:

I used the coffee cup from the Coffee Set and sprayed it with Heidi Swapp Tea Color Shine. I used the Scribble Heart Stencil to add some texture paste on white cardstock. I let it dry and then added some Lindy's mist. I fussy cut 3 of them out and added one to the coffee cup:

The scalloped circle is also from the Coffee Set and colored with the same Color Shine:

I added layers of patterned papers, torn edges and machine stitching to my page:

I added some Coffee Flair with tangled thread under them:

I love creating memories about the everyday life, do you? Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

Be Mine

Hey there!
I am back to share a layout created for CSI case file # 310.
I used a variety of manufacturers for this page of Sierra and Robin:

I created a heart mask out of cardstock and laid it on top of my background. I used the Distressed Text Stamp from Creative Embellishments and stamped with black ink.  I machine stitched the heart using silver thread. I added a few puffy stickers from Dear Lizzy. I used a border punch on the grey paper from JilliBean Soup. I added a Tim Holtz sticker and a wood button from Pink Fresh. I used foam Thickers for my title:

The red heart paper is from Photo Play Wild Love. The plaid paper is from Fancy Pants Home For Christmas. I added a doily behind my photo along with a chipboard frame from Simple Stories. To the frame< i added another Tim Holtz phrase sticker. I placed some silver tangled thread under the flower die cut and added another wood button and puffy sticker:

I had cut the 3 tags behind my photo. On this tag, I fussy cut the wood framed "together is my favorite place to be" and flower frame from a paper from JilliBean Soup Garden Harvest. I added a puffy sticker to it. I used a banner stamp from TaDa and stamped in both red and silver/black ink. I fussy cut them and added around my photo and to the top of my page. I added the XOXO border sticker to the border punched grey paper. Finally, I added another wood button and Tim Holtz sticker:

Together We Have It All

Hello!
It's a new month, that means a new mood board challenge at Creative Embellishments.
I was inspired by the love theme and decided to do a layout about Greg and I:

I used a stencil and added Recollections mist using a paintbrush for my rays.
I used the Feeling the Love Frame and the quote Together We Have It All as my main focus to draw your eye to the photos.

I added flowers from my stash and then added in bits of the Flourish Set 10 and a few Wood Veneer Hearts. I also added the gold Heidi Swapp stickers and a few Teresa Collins phrase stickers:

I colored all of the CE chipboard and wood veneer with Nuvo Glitter Markers.
I added some blue mist spatters to my background:

Here's another look at the frame and title:

I absolutely love how this layout came out!

Here's the moodboard:

Hope I have inspired you to play along with this fun moodboard!

Sing Anyways

Hey there friends!
I am back to share my layout for CSI case file #309.
I used mostly Echo park Happy Together along with Berry Branches from Creative Embellishments for this layout:

I used the note paper for my background and then took the sunburst stencil from Heidi Swapp and added some mist using a large paintbrush. I ripped a piece of brown cardstock and placed it on the left side of the page to mimic a tree trunk. I painted the Berry Branches from Creative Embellishments brown and then added some white Gesso:

I fussy cut lots of flowers and a few trees and added them around my photo.

I used the quote from the case file for my title and used a few different Echo Park alphas. I added some stitching through the title. I added a bird sticker and a few fussy cut bird houses hanging from the branches:

Here's a peek at the case file, to see more, check out the CSI Facebook Group:
